Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

NEW: May guests exit and re-enter the Sleeman Centre during events?

No. The Sleeman Centre and the Guelph Storm Hockey Club are committed to providing guests the safest and most secure environment. Exiting and re-entering the building is not permitted at Sleeman Centre ticketed events including the Guelph Storm. Once a ticketed guest has been scanned into the Sleeman Centre, guests cannot exit the building and return during the event. Guests with emergencies will be assisted by the Sleeman Centre Guest Experience Team on a case-by-case basis.

Lost and Found?

During an event contact the guest services booth located at gate #6.

May guests sit in Draught Picks Pub during a hockey game? If so, how do they do this?

Yes, but now most “window seats” have been sold to season ticket holders making the available seats at the windows extremely limited. Fans will need to purchase a ticket through the Storm Box Office in order to reserve one of the vacant window seats.

What time do doors open prior to an event?

Unless otherwise stated, doors will be open to the public one hour prior to the event.

May guests bring video or still cameras into the arena during games or events?

Unless otherwise stated, video cameras and photography are not permitted unless you have permission from the Guelph Storm or the Event Promoter and receive a pass to be an accredited photographer.

May outside food and beverage be brought into the facility?

No outside food or drinks are allowed in the facility with the exception of birthday cake for a party where previous permission has been obtained. Food and beverage service is available at our concessions and in our restaurant, through the 200 level bar or your in-suite hostess.

What happens if a guest arrives to an event with a disallowed item?

Disallowed items can be checked at the Guest Services counter at gate #6.
